Cynthia Jonathan, a Taraba State University graduate, has sadly passed away.
The young woman was k!lled when a truck loaded with shaft sand lost control and rammed into the busy Mile 6 Market in Jalingo.
The incident happened on Friday, June 27, 2025, when the driver lost control of the truck due to a tyre burst while it was at high speed.
The vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the crowded marketplace, k!lling Cynthia, who was in her shop.
After completing her national youth service program two years ago, Cynthia operated a point-of-sale business in the market.
The deceased was laid to rest on Saturday, June 28.
