A suspected vandal has been arrested for allegedly stealing iron rods from the pedestrian slabs of the newly constructed Ebu Bridge along the Ughelli–Asaba Road.
The Delta State Commissioner for environment, Jamani Ejiro, apprehended the suspect while vandalizing and removing the iron rods from the pedestrian slabs.
Preliminary investigation identified the suspect as Emmanuel Sunday, a native of Ikot-Okpene Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State.
