Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, has raised eyebrows after he retweeted a post asking homeless people to go back to their homes if they they aren’t making a living in Lagos.

This comes after some Nigerians reacted angrily to the video he shared on Tuesday, showing men of the state environmental taskforce arresting homeless persons under bridges in the state.

The video got some Nigerians emotional as it showed the moment an elderly man who takes refuge under the bridge was also arrested and asked to vacate under the bridge.

Wahab had mentioned in his earlier tweet that the 74 persons including homeless ones that were arrested will be arraigned in court.
