I Was Called A Bitter Feminist When I Criticized Women Who Make Men Comfortable With Being Broke

Aniebiet Francis, the Nollywood filmmaker, has revealed that she was labelled a bitter feminist since she started criticizing women who make men comfortable in their joblessness.

She stated this while reacting to a Facebook by Nigerian pastor’s wife, Emem Isong.

 

“This post got me laughing so hard. When I started criticizing women that make men comfortable in being broke, jobless and unproductive,” she wrote.

 

“Pickme women and their “crowns” accused me of being a bitter feminist that is encouraging pussyprenuership. Now a married and respected pastor’s wife is preaching that sermon, car has caught their tongues.

 

“The truth is, years ahead of this generation and I dare to speak that truth everyone is thinking of but are afraid to speak.

 

“I also have the courage to stand alone in a room full of opposing views and still scream that truth to power. Let me find food and eat abeg!
