Former Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has expressed thanks to God that he’s not part of President Bola Tinubu’s government.

According to him, he is thankful because he is not part of those inflicting pain on Nigerians and getting simple governance wrong.

El-Rufai stated this in an interview with Arise TV.

He said not being part of Mr Tinubu’s government saved him from being held accountable for the disaster the government has brought upon the country.

“Anytime I wake up and see Tinubu inflicting more pain on Nigerians and just bungling governance, the simplest things in governance that I knew when I was DG BPE, whenever I see them, I thank God,” Mr El-Rufai said.

“I think God saved me. I’m really lucky. God saved me from the embarrassment of explaining being part of this disaster,” Mr El-Rufai added.

The former Kaduna governor described Mr Tinubu’s administration as evil and a tragedy he participated in bringing upon Nigeria, adding he wants to join other opposition politicians to oust Mr Tinubu from office in 2027.
