Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, has again spoken about his rift with social media critic, Martins Otse aka Verydarkman.

He spoke about this while reacting to the recent arrest of VDM by the EFCC.

In a lengthy video message, Bobrisky stated that although he initially laughed when he heard of VDM’s arrest, he later chose to delete his reaction video out of a sense of compassion. “I had to delete it because my real person is kind,” he said. “Even when they arrested him, I wasn’t happy. I just laughed because of the history between us.”

Bobrisky reminded followers that VDM once openly mocked him during his own legal troubles in 2023. “He was laughing, he was happy, but he forgot that this life—what goes around, comes around,” he said.

The social media personality went on to criticize those demanding VDM’s release simply because they support his online activism. “You people saying ‘Free VeryDarkMan’—were you there when he was hurting others? People have a right to speak up when someone wrongs them,” he said. “Many of you are just clout-chasing. You don’t care about justice; you just want attention.”

Despite their past conflicts, Bobrisky insisted he holds no grudge. “I’ve never met him. I don’t follow him. I don’t wish him bad. But I’ll stand by what I said—you can’t drag my brand and expect silence.”
