Harrison Gwamnishu Stages Solo Protest at Government House Asaba Over Insecurity in Delta State

Nigerian activist, Harrison Gwamnishu has protested at the Delta State government house over the insecurity in the state.
The activist staged a protest months after he resigned as the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
Gwamnishu was seen in front of the government house requesting to see the governor after the security men at the gate barred his entrance.
Sharing the video on the post, he wrote:
“I have just concluded a solo protest at the Delta State Government House to draw urgent attention to the growing insecurity plaguing our communities.
The Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, appears to be neglecting the vital role of our local security networks—structures that remain unfunded and unsupported, even as kidnappings and violence escalate.
I came here to express deep concern and to urge the government to prioritize funding for local vigilante groups. This is not just a protest—it is a call to action for the safety and protection of all Deltans.
This advocacy is the reason I resigned from my position as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor. I chose to stand with the people.
PLEASE LEND YOUR VOICE.
