Financial Success Is Good But A Stable Family With “Untraumatized” Kids Is One Of The Most Fulfilling Things Anyone Can Do In Life

Solomon Buchi
Nigerian author and self-acclaimed life coach, Solomon Buchi, has stated that financial success is good, but having a stable family with “untraumatized” kids is one of the most fulfilling things in life.
He suggested that mothers should take a seven-year career break so they can have ample time to raise their children.
In a post that has sparked a debate online, Solomon mentioned that he understands the importance of a two-income household, but it’s wise for a woman to have time for her children because paying strangers to raise the kids is damaging to the family unit.
He wrote;
‘’I understand the economic necessity of a two-income household. Still, it’s wiser for the woman to take a career break to be fully present for the baby because children need their mothers more in the first 7 years of their lives.
This ultra-consumerist culture of both parents tirelessly chasing money and paying for strangers to raise their children is damaging to the family unit.
There’s no need to spend all your salary on nursery when you could stay at home. Financial success is good, but a stable family with “untraumatized” kids is one of the most fulfilling things anyone can do in life.”
