Panic As Suspected Cultists Go On Rampage, K!ll Man In Edo
Suspected cultists have reportedly k!lled a young man named Emma in Benin City, Edo State.
The incident which occurred on Friday, June 27, 2025 around Akugbe Street, near the popular Oliha Market, left motorists, traders, and passers-by scampering for safety.
Eyewitnesses said the assailants chased the victim in two vehicles before opening fire, leaving him with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was reportedly a revenue collector for drivers on the wheel in the state until he met his death.
It was gathered that the remains of the victim were conveyed in a commercial vehicle to an undisclosed morgue by residents in the area.
Operatives of the Textile Mill Road Police Division stormed the scene to maintain law and order immediately after the k!lling.
