Speaking on the ongoing transfer saga involving Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, Erol disclosed that David, whose contract with Lille has expired, has turned down offers from both Turkish clubs in favour of a move to Serie A.

Juventus’ interest in Canadian forward Jonathan David could potentially hinder Napoli striker Victor Osimhen’s chances of joining the club this summer.

This was disclosed by Turkish football commentator Levent Ümit Erol.

Speaking on the ongoing transfer saga involving Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, Erol disclosed that David, whose contract with Lille has expired, has turned down offers from both Turkish clubs in favour of a move to Serie A.

“Jonathan David, whose contract with Lille has ended, has rejected offers from Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray. He is about to sign with Juventus,” Erol said as quoted by habersarikirmizi.

“If Juventus signs Jonathan David, the possibility of Osimhen going to Juventus will be eliminated from there.”

Osimhen was brilliant last season for Galatasaray after joining them on loan from Napoli.

The Super Eagles attacker netted 37 goals across all competitions for Galatasaray, helping them to win the domestic league and the Turkish Cup.

The 26-year-old has been linked with the likes of Juventus, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Galatasaray and Al Hilal.

But Osimhen is yet to decide the club he would play for next season.
